Rich Styles, a native of Binghamton (Nimmons Bridge if you're the technical type) began his radio career at the age of 22 when a friend said "Hey we need somebody to play cd's when the real DJ is on vacation. Will you do it?" Obviously he said ok and poof! Now he's a real DJ... kind of.
Rich likes to work on computers, cars and most anything electrical or mechanical. As a child, he was always taking stuff apart to see what made it work...and trying to put it back together without too many spare parts.
We had to hide his toolbox when he said "Hmm, I'll be right back" after being told the location of the Wild 104 transmitter! He was easily distracted from his toolbox search with a 9 volt battery, two paperclips and some duct tape.
