#Twittertrends Week of July 29

This week in Twitter, it’s a race to get follower for @lady gaga (Lady Gaga) and @justinbieber (Justin Bieber)—or at least for their fans it is.  @justibieber has nearly four million followers, or #beliebers as they call themselves, and fans are tweeting the trend #4millionbeliebers to get Bieber to that number.  Bieber is currently a little over 50,000 followers away from hitting that mark.  @ladygaga’s #littlemonsters are trending #5millionmonsters as Lady Gaga just reached the 5 million follower mark.  They are trying to get her even more followers.

@RickyRozay (Rick Ross) has also been receiving a lot of attention of Twitter this week after the release of his new album #Teflon Don.  Fans are tweeting about how much they loved the new album and quotes from the single "Super High" featuring Ne-Yo.

Never Shout Never fans also were trending the topic #thelousytruth this week.  “The Lousy Truth” is the name of the song from Never Shout Never that was taken down off of their MySpace page by the label.  @christoferdrew (Christofer Drew) of Never Shout Never tweeted the link to the new song, but after it was removed tweeted the following: “new song got taken down; and that's #thelousytruth :/”  Fans were trending the topic expressing their anger that the song was taken down.  The topic also began trending as fans state what the lousy truth was in their own lives.
